About Drs. Hunt and Hunt
Dr. Richard Hunt is a native of Rocky Mount and represents the third generation of dentists in the Hunt family. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of NC, at Chapel Hill in 1984 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the UNC School of Dentistry in 1989.
Dr. Amy Hunt is a native of Vero Beach, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of NC at Greensboro in 1987 and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC School of Dentistry in 1991.
The Hunts remain at the forefront of dental technology through extensive continuing education. They are alumni of the L.D. Pankey Institute, a postgraduate teaching facility which focuses on predictable, relationship based dentistry with a goal of optimum dental health for each patient. They are members of and hold several leadership positions in the American Dental Association, the N.C. Dental Society, and the American College of Dentists.
Drs. Hunt and Hunt have been practicing in Rocky Mount since 1989 and are active members of their church and several civic clubs. They enjoy exercising, traveling and spending time with their three children, Caroline, Richard, and Charlotte.
